The aim of the association Projekt Resgate is to help victims of human trafficking, primarily women from prostitution. It is not just a matter of helping them to return to their homeland, but above all re-integrating them into a healthy life to prevent against the risk of recidivism.

Concretely we provide for:

Our work in the home country includes

• Medical and psychological care
• Career planning advice
• Financing of training and mini-business, support for livelihoods and the like (in cooperation with our local partner organizations)
• Regular assessment of the successful integration through constant contact with a local reference person

The largest share of the assistance provided by Projekt Resgate serves as a start-up aid in building a mini-business. This is important issue because unemployment is one of the main reasons people are victims of human trafficking and prostitution. Successful integration is the key to the sustainability of our work.

This process of integration can last up to 4 years. It is important to keep in mind that the number of people currently supported in the integration process is greater than the number of people returned in 2019.
